We’ve encountered many businesses over the course of just the last 3 years who need help and are skeptical about using Meta Ads (that’s Facebook and Instagram Paid Posts) for their business. In one conversation with an area business owner he confessed he had spent thousands of dollars the year before, and saw *ZERO* results.
This is a problem.
And one that we see all too often that really goes back to one of the first rules of marketing and communicating–knowing who your audience is.
Know Your Audience
Last weekend we were browsing Facebook when we were targeted with an ad by a chiropractor from Tulsa. Keep in mind the last trip we took to Tulsa or through Tulsa was in 2020, and we do not regularly travel to or through that part of Oklahoma.
We are based just an hour north of Wichita, KS. But that would make us a 4 hour drive from this business in Tulsa.
The likelihood that we would use their services is zero. In fact, Meta makes it very easy for businesses to overlook the geographical scoping tools that are available when setting up an ad, and often does not know what your business will need in terms of your direct service are and advertisement area.
This is a pretty easy thing to set up for businesses with a bit of guidance. And it can *SAVE* you money and heartache.
